Iron Chelate Fe DTPA 7% - 100g (Dry aquarium fertilizer) - Premium Grade

Iron is an essential micronutrient needed by all plants. Plants require iron in ferrous state and in chelate iron fertilizer DTPA ensures that the iron is kept in the ferrous state.

This product premium grade of iron chelate is used in hydroponics and aquariums. It is fully effective up to pH of 7.5. This chelate has less affinity to calcium as compared to EDTA.

Preparing Solution
To make your solution, mix 71g of iron chelate Fe DTPA 7% to 500ml water (preferably RO water). We suggest using RO water because most tap water has traces of phosphate which reacts with the iron.

Dosing
Add 5mL of above solution per 100 litres of tank volume to reach a target of 0.5 ppm. We suggest dosing daily at 5ml of your mixed solution per 100 litres of tank volume if it is high light planted aquarium otherwise reduce the dosing accordingly.

Iron chelate Fe DTPA  is best utilized by aquatic plants.
